One problem related to turn signal switch has been reported for the 1999 Cadillac Eldorado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Puffs of smoke came from steering column, it disappeared and later came back, but for longer periods of time, dealer stated on 12-18-00 that there was too much grease in steering column, next day there was more puffs of smoke, dealer replaced turn signal switch assembly.
