Engine turns off for no reason while going under 40 miles. Have to put it in neutral and it will start right up again. Usually on city streets, in motion. We think most of the time after turning.
Tl-the contact owns a 2000 Cadillac Eldorado. The contact stated while making a right turn going 5 mph, the contact felt a burning sensation on his right foot and noticed that an unknown hot liquid was leaking onto the accelerator and brake pedals. The contact was able to pull the vehicle to the side of the road and , in the process, sustained serious injuries that required medical attention. The contact was able to drive back to his residence. The vehicle was diagnosed by an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the heater core needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 183,000. Ng.
Engine quit at approx 30 mph. Coasted to stop. Engine restarted immediately. This is the 3rd occurrance in past six months.
