The consumer heard a metal on metal crunching noise. The vehicle stalled. The consumer looked under the vehicle and saw several pieces of metal scattered on the road. It was determined that the engine seized because one of the connecting rods experienced an internal failure and crashed through the back of the engine block. The battery was replaced a year ago and had died again.
