1 Rear Suspension problem of the 2000 Cadillac Eldorado

Failure Date: 08/01/2007

The contact owns a 2000 Cadillac Eldorado. While driving 35 mph, the contact heard a banging noise coming from the rear of the vehicle when driving over a bump. The vehicle would also sway left to right while driving 55 mph or greater. The dealer stated that the heat treatment for the rear knuckle bushings caused the failure. As of October 16, 2007, the dealer had not repaired the vehicle. The failure mileage was 68,000 and current mileage was 69,600.

2 Rear Suspension problem of the 1998 Cadillac Eldorado

While driving at speeds of 25 mph and up the rear end of vehicle will bounce from side to side, very unstable, potentiallycausing loss of vehicle control. Dealer cannot fix and determine cause of defect.
