Tires leaking at rim. First noticed in 2008. Repaired by walmart by "gluing tire to rim" (my words). Lasted about 1. 5 years. Now two tires leaking at rim on 1996 Eldorado. After research I understand that the problem is corrosion in the alloy (chrome) wheel. Gm's recommendation is to replace the wheel. This is big bucks for 4 wheels (about $1500).

Two tires continue to lose air. I finally went to replace the tires and the service center said that the rim was leaking and had to be replaced. That there was a hole in the rim from oxidation. The chrome was peeling off of 2 of the rims.

The two rear wheels leaked air and the tires were repaired twice, the chrome from the tires was peeling and oxidizing. The consumer stated that the third wheel also had began leaking 2-3 lbs. Of air a week. The consumer believes the wheels were defective.
Rusting of the screws and rim of the spare tire in the tire well.
