Tl- the contact owns a 2013 Cadillac Escalade. The contact stated that while the driver was pulling wood from his vehicle, the accelerator got stock and the rpm when up. The contact was able to shift into neutral then into reversed to stop the acceleration. The vehicle jump in reversed and rollback ward hitting the woods which was on the trailer. In addition, the contact stated that the next day the vehicle ram went up to 120 mph, the accelerator pedal got stock, the contact shifted into neutral to slowdown and coasted to the side of the road. The contact then resume driving to his residence. No warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic for a diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000. Aw.
The contact owns a 2013 Cadillac Escalade. The contact stated that while driving approximately 72 mph, the vehicle unexpectedly accelerated. The driver discovered that the accelerator pedal adjustment button had been inadvertently depressed by the wallet, causing the pedal position to change and resulting in the unexpected acceleration.
