One problem related to alternator/generator/regulator has been reported for the 1997 Cadillac Seville. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Upon starting the vehicle it made a growling noise. Consumer felt unsafe. Consumer took the vehicle to the dealer, and dealer replaced the alternator. However, there was a mildew smell in the vehicle.
