Tl-the contact owns a 2000 Cadillac Seville. The contact stated that while driving 55 mph, transmission oil began to leak as check engine light illuminated. The contact was able to drive the vehicle to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed head gasket and motor mount needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 128,000.
Consumer is concerned that every 1000 miles he has to add 1/1/2 quarts of oil to vehicle. Dealership is aware of problem. . There are no leaks underneath vehicle for oil at this time. But, there is a issue that needs to be reolved.
