While driving down the road the sunroof detached causing me to have to grab it to stop from flying off while going 75mph down the highway. And then hold it on while I operated the vehicle to a safer place to duck tape it back down. This caused the sunroof to obviously not operate properly any longer as well obviously. . .
I was driving it got to stop sign went to accelerate and it wouldn't go I then turned it off waited a few minutes started it up and off we went it drove fine for about 5 miles then it started like jerking so I got it home safely next day driving it on the highway it would not accelerate got it off the highway safely I shut it off waited 10 minutes started it up and it accelerated fine for about 20 minutes then I just wanted to get it back home normally it is a half hour ride it took about an hour and a half to get it back home so I waited till next day went out started it up we pulled out fine got to stop sign went to accelerate to pull out and the only thing it did was rev the rpm up I turned it off waited a few minutes started it back up and then it accelerated to pull out the car only has 132,056 miles on it , it is a safety hazard , I am now afraid to drive it anywhere, I believe this should be enough to be on the list as a recall I read on forums alot of other people are having the same issue.
System stability issues and it jerks my left rear out of wack when driving my 2004 Srx Cadillac I have small infants and I bought this car from dealership a few months ago and I beleive it is a gm recall according to other sites. I don't know what to do it scares me that I'm gonna lose control every time I drive it because its getting worse and I spent all the money I had saved so my wife could have her Cadillac.
It shows up on the dashboard and the driving change and the will be a clinking noise from the rear of the truck. It makes it dangerous to drive.
Power steering engages on its own and causes problems when I am turning into traffic. There is a problem with the power steering pump that is causing it to turn only when in motion and it is still hard to turn.
Hood hydraulics bar doesn't stay up on front. Rear hydraulics hatch door doesn't stay up. Brake line is rotted yet was garaged for most of its life. Caddy repair noticed this. Front and rear differentials are bad. They are leaking. Brought it in because of the noise to mechanic and too costly to repair. Extended warranty was useless. They didn't cover it although it states they cover differentials if. . . Loud noise on acceleration. Very costly repairs and dangerous.
Since oct. 2014 I have had issues with the"stability system" to be serviced yet it works??? the hood hasn't ever stayed up which had been a pain being starting a couple months ago the battery starting having issues in the cold weather. Something is draining it and I don't know from where.
I received a recall letter back in September 2014. In October 2014, I called the Cadillac dealer in roseville, mn and I still haven't received a call or anything yet. I am not sure if I should be calling my insurance agent and attorney for assistant on this issue because I drive my kids to daycare every morning! I hope to hear from someone soon.
I origanally took car in for bad egine in which potamkin dealer in manhattan replaced with a brand new one. This was in June of 2014 and I had to take it back about 4 to 5 different times for issues with the engine and that cause problems to the transmission. Theres too much problems with this car to even explain in detail and the car has been there over a year in and out.
I have a problem with the key at first I try to take the key out of the ignition and won't come off and then they stopped working so I get a lock smith and they make me a new key which it cost me $392. 00 im trying to take my car to the dealer and at first they tell me they don't have the part I went this morning because they say the part was there and I try to talk to somebody and nonwant helped there. So I was frustrated so I went to work and thint fix my car.
The gear shifter was very loose and I was able to shift gears without the car running. Replaced gear shift linkage. ($150).
