Frame Rust problems of the 2004 Cadillac SRX

So many rusted frame complaints should have warranted a recall. In my case a frame should not have rusted badly in less than a year . Many even show on you -tube trying to fix rusted frames because no one is listening. Underbody coating actually should have been added . Thin sheet metal sections are the worst parts .

I have been hearing a rattle(front end) for 2 years while driving the vehicle and inspected by jacking up car and visually inspecting. When I was driving the car on the highway the steering wheel will jerk to the right and want to go to another lane and the stability control light will come on. I found a inch and a half gap in frame that is rusted and was never welded. The gap is under the drivers side frame rail under car. It appears to have been there for a long time due to metal fatigue and rust. I took pictures of the area . The frame could break due to this and makes the vehicle a safety hazard. I do feel safe to drive this car and the idea of other vehicles with this defect as I have searched online and founds others with the same complaint.
