Headlights problems of the 2004 Cadillac SRX

My headlights do not provide enough light to be safe. I cannot see when they are on the low beam, and others flash their lights at me as if to say they can't see me either. I can see well when the high beams are on, then oncoming traffic flashes they are too bright and blinding them. I have seen numerous reports of this issue for this vehicle on the internet. This is not an isolated incident. I have stopped driving at night due to the fact I can not see. After all the complaints that Ave been file Cadillac needs to issue a recall, and fix the problem. I have had to change my life style because of this issue. I guess it is going to take someone/someone's getting killed before this issue is corrected by Cadillac. This issue was not disclosed to me when I bought the car.
