I was driving on i20 in georgia. My check engine light came on and before I could get off interstate car started making horrible noise. Got off and turned off engine. When I tried to restart it, it would just make a grinding noise. Someone checked the oil for me and it was bone dry. Computer stated 61% oil life left and never gave me a "oil change" notice. Now the engine is shot and needs replacing. I was going 70 mph at the time and car went down to about 30 mph within seconds. This could have caused a horrible accident!.
