I got into an accident and my airbags did not go off.
The contact owns a 2008 Cadillac Srx. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag warning light illuminated and the horn became inoperable. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.

We were stopped at a traffic light, when the engine made a very loud, harsh noise and began racing at a high rev. Even with brakes fully applied, we were propelled into the intersection; tried to jamb the gear shift into neutral, but could not in time. We were struck from the left front and the vehicle was knocked onto the right side. Minor injuries, treated and released at the emergency room. Vehicle was totaled.
