While I'm driving my driver seat moves forward and my brake and gas pedal do as well. It happens no matter if I'm on a highway or street and when I'm driving straight not sure if it happens while turning. Doesn't matter what speed I'm going either. Haven't crashed. Nothing indicating something wrong on dash.
Bought my Cadillac 2015 Srx last April 2019, is has been thru one winter. Just a few months back noticed a burn in the seat back down at the bend while cleaning the car. Took my car to quantrell of lexington, ky dealer and they will not cover the replacement and stated they called the manufacturer and they will not cover the replacement. I was told it was a seat warmer malfunction. It is a miracle that my car did not catch on fire. The cts models were recalled for this very reason, but the will not recall the Srx's. I have seen many complaints online for the Srx. I should not have to pay to replace my seat and seat warmer when this is a vehicle safety issue.
Tl-the contact owns a 2015 Cadillac Srx. The contact stated that when she turned the vehicle on she waited for a few moment to drive but without warning. The contact noticed smoke (flames) coming from her seat then she looked down jumped up because her paints were burning. The contact sustained burns to her(glutes). The contact stated the vehicle was towed by triple-a to a dealer ( michael Cadillac 5787 n blackstone Ave, fresno, CA 93710 (559) 431-6008) where at this moment is begin diagnosed. Medical attention was not seek yet. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 61,000. Ck.
The drive shaft needed to be replaced at 65,000 miles. The headlights look like they are not on at night when you are driving. There have been 2 class action lawsuits won in California and florida for these defective headlights. I don't know why they would not include all the cars that had these headlights because they are all defective. If I would have known this I would not have bought the car. I have owned it 4 months and the touch screen cracked, driver assist seat control stopped working, the drive shaft needed to be replaced and the headlights do not look like they are on at night. I feel like I have to drive with my high beams just to see adequately and safely.
On Nov 1st 2015 returning from north carolina to florida my heated seat overheated causing 2nd degree burns. The dealership denies any problems even after I showed them photo of the injury.
To my knowledge recall for seats out board correction not performed before taking delivery on 12/26/2014. I'm making an appt. As of today 1/2/2015. I'm hearing a whistling / howling like noise when driving between 25 to 35 mph. Gets loader when accelerating and seems to be more prevalent when starting and cold. The sound causes me to wonder if its related to something more serious (that could) fail causing lost of control. It appears to be coming from beneath the rear of vehicle.
