1 Catalytic Convertor problem of the 2014 Cadillac XTS

The contact owns a 2014 Cadillac Xts. The contact stated that while driving approximately 70 mph, there was an abnormally loud sound coming from the engine. The contact stated exhaust started entering the cabin of the vehicle through the vents before the vehicle started losing motive power. The vehicle was driven to the residence and parked. The contact later discovered that the front catalytic converter had separated from the exhaust manifold and was touching the radiator fan. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure. The contact was informed of an unknown TSB related to the failure. The failure mileage was 84,000.
