Car Stall problems of the 1997 Chevrolet 1500

1 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 02/02/2002

Heard a noise when brakes were applied, and brakes didn't hold. Had to slam on brakes to stop vehicle. After slamming on brakes vehicle would stall. Contacted dealer.

2 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 01/18/2000

While driving about 55 mph vehicle stalls. Also, when the engine is turn off, it is hard for the consumer to turn it back on.

3 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 01/01/1999

While driving approximately 40 mph and without prior warning, vehicle stalls and cuts off. Also, sometime's it is hard to start the vehicle and to keep vehicle running. Dealer is aware of the problem, but can't determine the cause of the problem.
