One problem related to side/window air bag has been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Passenger side air bag deployed unexpectedly when the consumer closed the door. Manufacturer was contacted by owner, and explained that this occurred with this type of vehicle, but consumer was concerned that this could be dangerous if the vehicle was to be involved in an accident.
