One problem related to clutch pedal/linkage has been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When taking off from a dead stop/stop light/stop sign, etc. , & pushed the clutch in at 1500. The idle would stay at rmps. Would take a few seconds or so before clutch kicks in to normal.
