One problem related to engine and engine cooling has been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer took the vehicle to the dealer for repairs. After picking the vehicle up from the dealership vehicle caught on fire at approximately 10:00 am, 2 days later. Consumer contacted the manufacturer and the dealer, and was told that the cause of the fire was undetermined, and that there was nothing that the manufacturer was libel for which could have caused the fire.
