One problem related to conventional parking brake has been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Thottle restriction causes air to get into the distrubution/duct and into space to the right of the thottle pedal. Consumer shoe or tie gets caught undereath the air duct. Also, the parking brake released, causing vehicle to travel completely to the off position.
