Speed Sensor problems of the 1999 Chevrolet 1500

Service engine light has been on for so long the light has burned out. Not having the time to get it checked out, today I went to auto zone to have a code reading on my 1999 chevy silverado 5. 3l. The code indicated the abs control module all speed sensor failure. They indicated to me there was a recall on this part that no one knows about. The told me instead of me buying the part and paying to get it fixed, to see if this is on recall and have the dealer fix it for free. As I see on here, this is a recall part. Can you please advise me on how I can get this fixed? I have called a couple of chevy dealerships and they said they couldn't help me.
