Two problems related to accelerator pedal have been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The consumer experienced throttle sticking. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who stated there was no problem.
While driving the vehicle upon pressing the gas pedal it sticks, it feels as if it rubbing and grinding. When at a stand still upon moving the vehicle you have to stomp the pedal almost to take off again. Please provide any further information. Mr.
