One problem related to air brake hoses, lines/piping, and fittings has been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
After braking to stop vehicle hesitates. Also, there is increased braking distance when braking. Took vehicle to dealer dealer 6 times, and was told brake line was too close to left exhaust pipe, heated brake fluid. Dealer computer was conveniently down last 3 times. So those visits wer not documented. The dealer believes the brake line was not the problem.
