One problem related to battery cable has been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The positive post broke off the delco battery which came with the vehicle when it was purchased new from the dealership. Dealership which sold the vehicle refused to honor the warranty which came with the battery.
