One problem related to brakes failed has been reported for the 2004 Chevrolet 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brakes failed in driveway. Upon inspection I noticed that the lines were badly rusted and one of the two under the hood had ruptured. There was no warning and fortunately no one was injured as I was not driving on the highway at the time.
