Consumer states that after having both the driver and passenger side seatbelts replaced due to a recall, they now pin passenger to sit. The new seatbelts does not allow either the driver or passenger to move.

2 Front Seat Belt Retractor problem of the 1999 Chevrolet 1500

Failure Date: 04/01/1999

Passenger's seat belt will lock up, and will not extend for proper operation. Consumer had dealership repair this defect when he went in for a recall notice he received on brakes. Consumer stated that belt that replaced the previous belt still did not operate properly, and will stick in one position. Also, concerned that serial numbers on two passenger numbers do not match. Please provide any additional information/attachments.

3 Front Seat Belt Retractor problem of the 1997 Chevrolet 1500

Failure Date: 02/18/1997

Seat belt does not come out all the way to snap shut as is required. Dealer was contacted.
