One problem related to tire tread/belt has been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The rear driver side tire experienced tread separation while driving 35 mph. The cause of the failure was undetermined. The left side of the vehicle was damaged as a result of the separation. The consumer replaced all five tires and sent the faulty tire to continental tire of north America as they requested.
