One problem related to engine stall has been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I have the 2002 silverado 2500hd with the 8. 1l engine and I have random stalling while driving at any speed or even standing at a stop light. It has just started to not start from a cold start too. I brought it to the dealership and was told it was giving the crankshaft position sensor code as defective. There is already a recall on specific 8. 1l for the 2001 silverado with the exact same symptoms.
