Bolt head is snapped off on the left exhaust manifold on the rear most bolt. I know of many others who have this same problem and I believe that their should be a recall on the defective bolts used in these vehicles.
The hvac controls, air door actuator; part #89018365, failed on my truck one evening allowing only cold air to flow through the driver's side defroster/heater. Not only did I have cold air blowing all of the time on the driver's side of the truck but the windshield would fog up due to the cold air thus restrickting my vision. This was not a good thing to happen while returning home one evening from another city. I looked on line and it appears chevy has had a lot of problems with this plastic switch. I have never had this problem with other vehicles in over 40 years of driving. It is extreamly difficult to fix. Chevy dealer wanted over $500. 00 to repair plus $263. 56 for the part! I had it done elswhere for $510. 30. Should there be a recall on this part? why does this part fail so frequently?.
