One problem related to steering wheel has been reported for the 2008 Chevrolet 3500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Defective spindle rods caused premature and excessive tire wear. All four tires are worn bald on the outer edge of each tire. I have always rotated the tires faithfully every 6,000 miles. Purchased the 2008 chev. Impala new. I understand that gm has replaced the defective spindle rods on law enforcement vehs; but gm refuses to fix the problem on public vehs. Under warranty. I am asking the NHTSA for help. Thank you.
