Three problems related to front air bag have been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The vehicle was involved in a rollover accident in which the vehicle rolled over three times yet neither air bag deployed. The dealer was notified. The consumer's wife applied the brakes but nothing happened, and steered to the right of the road to avoid hitting other vehicles. Scc.
I was changing lanes to pass a truck. As I completed the lane change, the back end continued to slide. I started to swerve left and right in my lane. As I passed the truck, my vehicle crossed over the right lane and hit the right the guardrail. I believe I hit the right rear of my vehicle twice on the guardrail. My vehicle then turned approximately 90 degrees counter-clockwise and headed straight into the concrete center divider. My vehicle bounced off the wall and ended up mostly in the right hand lane facing the traffic that was behind me. No airbag was deployed. The vehicle is classified as totaled by the insurance company.
While traveling at 15 mph vehicle slammed into side of another car. Upon impact, none of airbags deployed. Please provide any further information.
