One problem related to seats has been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The driver's seat was 2. 5 inches to the left of the steering wheel center. Which made it very difficult to maintain steering control when the vehicle was driven. Also, the consumer was concerned about safety of air bag deployment.
