One problem related to engine belts and pulleys has been reported for the 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Rattle form the a/c belt tension-er when accelerating. Have changed multiple new tension-ers and there is still the rattle from the belt tessioner. I have found a TSB on the a/c compressor that leads to the issue.
