One problem related to tailgate latch has been reported for the 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
2003 Chevroletr Avalanche, tailgate opens by itself. This happened repeatedly in colder temperatures tailgate latches had to be manually opened to get tailgate to shut after a few days tailgate would drop again. This happened continually during winter months.
