One problem related to transmission noise has been reported for the 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Transmission began making a low whirling noise and now slips and chugs. No towing or 4-wheeling beatings. I have taken very good care of this vehical. I love my Avalanche but now the rear wheel bearing are going as well!!!.
