8 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 11/10/2006

"service airbag" light has been on since 2006, which was about 6 month after I purchased the vehicle. I took it to the shop three times while it was under warranty. Each time they fixed it to where the light went off for a month or so, and it soon came back on. The light hasn't been off since. After reading all of the other 2005 chevy Avalanche issues people are having, I guess I should count my blessings. Hope I don't ever need an airbag!.
