We are repair facility. On or about 5/2/2023 the vehicle was towed into our shop with the right front wheel bearing sheared off - the customer stated he did not have any impact/accident with the vehicle. We noted that the wheel bearing still rotated - no explanation on why the hub would shear off. At the time, we inspected the entire front suspension (with extra emphasis on the left front bearing/hub assembly) and found no deficiencies. On, or about 5/19/23 the vehicle was towed into the shop - the left front hub/wheel bearing assembly had sheared off. In 30+ years in business, we've never seen a hub shaft sheer - let alone 2 on the same vehicle.
