The braking system on my 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche seemed inadequate. I have now found that only the rear brakes on the vehicle were working. In addition, the emergency brake has apparently never worked correctly. The vehicle is fairly new and only has about 28k miles on it.
Parking brake fails to hold the vehicle. Pedal goes to the floor but parking brake does not engage.
