The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed that the carbon canister vent solenoid valve was defective and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reccured two years later. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 34,673 and the current mileage was 58,000.

Spring in gas cap breaks preventing owner from removing gas cap and refueling vehicle. Gas cap replaced by dealer and new one broke again within two weeks.
