My wife was driving down the road and the rack and pinion broke and she lost steering. Because of that she hit a truck witch then damaged her car with $4100 in damage. I think gm should have put a stronger rack and pinion in the car. It didn't brake at the joints it broke at the gear that goes to both tie rods.
