The contact stated that after the vehicle was involved in an accident, it lost motive power and failed to restart on various occasions. No warning lights were illuminated, and the vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The vehicle was then towed to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the contact stated that the failure had reoccurred and the vehicle failed to restart. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was unknown.
