The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Aveo. The contact stated while driving 40 mph, the brake pedal was depressed and the a-arm connecting the steering to the tires underneath the vehicle collapsed. The contact pulled over, waited for a few minutes, and then slowly drove the vehicle back to the residence. The contact stated there was no warning light illuminated. The contact reached out to lbsi automotive llc (109 pittsburgh rd, uniontown, PA 15401, (724) 437-5274) but got no response. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 143,943.
The front of the car makes a clunking/rattling noise when going over bumps at low speeds.
