Structure Problems of Chevrolet Aveo

My 2005 Aveo died on the 80 freeway at 65 mph. There were no warning signs. Diagnosis:idler pulley snapped in two causing severe engine damage requiring new engine to fix. Very dangerous to have your car just die on a fast moving 4 lane freeway. 60,455 miles on vehicle at the time.

By federal law, the vehicle was designed with venting in the trunk over the wheel wells. An excessive amount of use on dirt roads would allow dust to enter the vehicle via the trunk. Troopers said he was doing speed limit and his car hydroplaned causing the vehicle to travel off the highway and into a small palm tree.
