Three problems related to brake electric antilock have been reported for the 1996 Chevrolet Beretta. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Abs system is working intermittently and keeps failing. Consumer had the brake rotors and t brake drums replaced four times because the brake drums and the brake rotors kept wearing out.
When driving on wet roads on a decline the vehicle does not stop when brakes are applied. Abs brakes lock up. Dealer cant find the problem.
While driving the vehicle consumer tried to make a sudden stop. Pressed the brake pedal to the floorboard, vehicle continued to travel. Consumer depressed the brakes again and the vehicle stopped.
