Two problems related to carrier/rack have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While riding down the street the spare tire assembly snapped and the spare tire fell off. No one was hurt because vehicle was the only on on street.
While riding along the holder snapped and spare tire fell off. Nobody got hurt.
