Three problems related to engine belts and pulleys have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I have occurying multiple issues with my 1997 chevy Blazer which include the back seat seat belts not working correctly,suspension control arm and bushings, corrosion of intake gaskets due to dexcool required coolant.
When exiting the highway at 15-25 mph and when attempting to make a turn off the highway consumer lost all power. Vehicle became very hard to steer and operate. Also, noticed all lights illuminated on the dashboard. Consumer contacted the dealer, dealer stated problem was due to the serpentine belt and tensioner which needed replacing. Please provide any further details.
The vehicle failed to start twice and battery was replaced. The service person suggested the belt tensioner and serpentine belt to be replaced.
