Two problems related to engine shut off without warning have been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving and moving from a stop vehicle will completely shutdown without warning, cause unknown. The dealer attempted to repair at least seven times, but was unable to find the real cause of the problem.
Vehicle was leaking transmission fluid. Also, doors on driver's side rattle like they are going to fall apart. Vehicle shuts off without prior warning. Dealership was aware of the problems.
