Three problems related to frame and members have been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving at approximately 40mph, front roll bar weld broke. Will be taking vehicle to dealer for repairs.
Truck frame leaning >2 inches towards left. After several trips to dimmit Chevrolet, dealer unable to fix it. They answered is under especifications and all trucks lean to one side. Help !! car was still under warranty gm said it was not a problem.
While driving, consumer noticed a semi truck had jack-knifed, consumer went around the truck and the front wheel hit a ditch causing vehicle to flip upside down, another semi attempted to go around the disabled truck when it too jack-knifed hitting consumer's vehicle sending it 175 feet, there was no roll bar in vehicle which would have helped in the situation, consumer was injured (minor) in accident.
