Three problems related to front seat power adjust have been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
My power seat shorted out while I was driving and set my shorts on fire, vehical completly burned to the ground despite three fire trucks showing up in about 5 min. , reported to gm , but the said since vehical was destroyed they are not to blame.
Seat tilt control failed. Yh.
Front passenger's side seat power adjusting lever is located in front of seat rather than underneath seat, causing the passenger's leg to get caught in seat lever ,possble injuries.
