Four problems related to accelerator pedal have been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Gas pedal sticking- not all the time but frequently, and of course not when I have it at the garage.
Throttle sticks at idle.
When starting to accelerate the gas pedal sticks. Have had it repaired once by the dealer, it only lasted less then a year.
Vehicle experienced slow acceleration. This occurred when the t speed accelerated to 60 mph. Consumer had to apply excessive force to the gas pedal when this occurred. There were 35-60 second delays before vehicle accelerated. Vehicle had been serviced 3 times by the dealership, who replaced several other components, but they did not address the slow acceleration problem.
